I’ve had the pleasure of traveling to/near Seattle quite a few times in my life, but I never really got to explore it until the summer of 2010. My husband and I flew up there, arrived around noon, and spent the next 10 hours walking around the city. Fortunately, we were there on a gloriously (mostly) sunny day, with highs in the low 70s — a welcome and wonderful change from the 100 degree weather we’d left in Oklahoma. This shot was snapped at about 9:45 at night, as we headed back to our hotel after dinner. It was just barely drizzling, and the last light of the day mingled on the sidewalk with the lights of the city. Oh, Seattle… I love you.

  1. Love that Market sign…almost looks like you added that in with a text editor. Guess that drops down a hill there?
